Imphal: Anusuiya Uikye was sworn in as Governor of Manipur at Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday.
Chief Justice of Manipur High Court, Maniampattu Vajjiravelu Muralidaran administered the oath to the new Governor.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh, Speaker Th Satyabrata, Ministers, MPs,MLAs attended the function.
The new Governor was also given a guard of honour.
Speaking on the occassion, Chief Minister said he was immensely pleased to welcome the new Governor and he look forward to working together with her for the people of the state.
