Bhopal: Union Home Affairs and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah arrived in the Madhya Pradesh capital on Sunday thereby commencing a day’s visit to the state during which he will initiate medical education in the Hindi medium – a first in the country.
The dignitary was received at the State Hangar by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Home Minister Narottam Mishra.
Mr. Shah shall release books for MBBS first-year pupils at the Lal Parade Ground. About 30,000 students of medical, dental, nursing, and paramedical courses are expected to be among the participants in the event following which Mr. Shah will depart for Gwalior for dedicating to the people a new terminal of the Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia Airport. He is also scheduled to address a public meeting at that divisional headquarters.
