All entering Manipur must have Covid negative report from April 18

The report should be within 72 hours of the arrival at the entry point according to an order issued by Health and Family Welfare Deputy Secretary Soiminlian Lengen.

Imphal: Manipur government has asked all people coming to Manipur either by surface or air to have negative RT-PCR/TrueNat/CB-NAAT COVID-19 test report from April 18 onwards as Covid cases were gradually increasing since the last two weeks in the state after several days of zero cases.

The report should be within 72 hours of the arrival at the entry point according to an order issued by Health and Family Welfare Deputy Secretary Soiminlian Lengen.

The Covid cases among the army and security personnel were also increasing hence the government has asked all military and security personnel to arrange COVID-19 testing of their personnel before entering Manipur.

Covid positive cases were around 141 in the state and over one lakh people have been administered anti-Covid vaccines.
