AILU to hold Challo Hyderabad programme on April 29

Due to the lack of health facilities, all advocates in Telangana state are facing difficulties, and younger advocates are experiencing severe financial crises.

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Committee of the All India Lawyers Union (AILU) will conduct the Challo Hyderabad program at Indira Park on Saturday to demand solutions to several issues affecting advocates.


AILU’s demands include issuing health cards to all advocates, including those enrolled since 2019, increasing the health scheme limit from Rs 2 lakhs to Rs 5 lakhs, adding maternity coverage to the health scheme, covering the parents of advocates under the Health Scheme, and adding major hospitals in each district to the network hospitals list, according to a statement from AILU on Friday.

Due to the lack of health facilities, all advocates in Telangana state are facing difficulties, and younger advocates are experiencing severe financial crises. AILU is urging the State and Central Governments to meet the legitimate demands of advocates and immediately enact an Advocates Protection Act to address the increasing attacks on advocates.


Stating that Advocates from all districts of Telangana are expected to participate in the Dharna, AILU Telangana State Committee urged all advocates to attend the Dharna in large numbers and make the Dharna program a grand success.
