Imphal: The Agniveer Recruitment for all the districts of Manipur will be held at Leimakhong from 23rd November to 5th December, 2022.
Earlier, it was scheduled to be held at Dimapur, Nagaland.
Registration for the recruitment rally can be done by log in to joinindianarmy.nic.in and the registration window will be opened till 3rd August, 2022. Candidates who have already registered earlier need not register again.
It may be mentioned that Agnipath Scheme was introduced by the Government of India on 14th June, 2022 for recruitment of soldiers below the rank of commissioned officers into the three services of the armed forces.
The Scheme will provide opportunity to youth of the country to serve the nation as Agniveers through enrolment in the Armed Forces, for a period of four years, through Pan India merit based recruitment.
Chief Minister N. Biren Singh expressed his sincere gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for making suitable arrangements for the Agnipath Army Recruitment Rally for the youths of Manipur in the State itself. Youth of the State will now have the opportunity to appear for the Recruitment Rally in the State, he added.
