Kolkata: Carrying her child in her arms, Rujira Banerjee, wife of AITC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee (MP), on Thursday appeared before enforcement officials of the Enforcement Directorate in Kolkata in relation to the coal smuggling case in West Bengal, official sources here said.
Rujira was seen emerging from a car with her child on her lap around 11 am and entered the ED office at CGO Complex, Salt Lake, as she was summoned to appear before the investigating officials, probing the money trail of coal smuggling scam across the state.
