Pherzawl: Young students at Tuolbung High School gave colour and creative expression to their vision of a better India as they took part in essay and painting competitions organized today under the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
The programme was organised by the District Administration, Pherzawl, in collaboration with the Zonal Education Office, under the ‘India of Dreams – Art Seva’ component of the campaign. Around 21 students participated in the competitions, with teachers encouraging and guiding them throughout the activities.
The competitions centred on themes such as Viksit Bharat, environmental protection, cleanliness and public welfare, encouraging students to reflect on the kind of society and nation they would like to see in the years ahead.
Through their essays and paintings, the young participants portrayed their ideas of a cleaner, sustainable and inclusive India, while also highlighting the importance of individual and collective responsibility in building a better society and protecting the environment.
Teachers played an active role in encouraging and guiding the participants throughout the activities, helping the young students express their ideas with confidence and creativity.
