Imphal: District Administration, Imphal West organised Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at Sega Road Thouda Bhabok Leikai, Imphal West, today. MLA of Keisamthong Assembly Constituency, Nishikanta Singh Sapam and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West, Keisham Jadumani Singh graced the occasion at its opening session.
Speaking at the occasion, MLA Nishikanta Singh Sapam said that the program indicates the service and commitment of the Government to the public. Such programme will benefit the public in a straight way, he maintained. The commitment of the Government officials is required to carry out Seva Sankalp Abhiyan successfully, MLA Nishikanta emphasized.
Various departments of the Government participated the programme by opening respective service centers/stalls at the venue. Altogether forty-one (41) service centers were opened with the objective to serve the public by reaching out the outreach.
During the camp, 308 officials and staffs of different Departments including financial banks and public service providers attended the camp. A total number of eight hundred and fifty-one (851) persons were provided service during the camp.
Such camps had already been organised at Thangmeiband and Sagolband Assembly constituencies before.
