Imphal: On the third and concluding day of the 8th Session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly, the House passed 31 Demands for Supplementary Grants amounting to a total of Rs. 38,489,221,799/- for the financial year 2026–27 ending 31st March, 2027.

The Supplementary Demands were approved by the House to meet additional expenditure during the financial year ending March 31, 2027.
Leader of the House and Chief Minister, Shri Yumnam Khemchand, also introduced The Manipur Appropriation (No. 3) Bill, 2026 (Bill No. 5 of 2026) and was subsequently passed by the House. Other Bills passed during the session included The Manipur Town and Country Planning (Sixth Amendment) Bill, 2026 (Bill No. 11 of 2026), The Manipur Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland (Third Amendment) Bill, 2026, The Manipur Goods and Services Tax (Tenth Amendment) Bill, 2026 (Bill No. 9 of 2026), The Manipur AYUSH Council Bill, 2026 (Bill No. 10 of 2026), The Manipur Right to Business and Investment Facilitation Bill, 2026 (Bill No. 8 of 2026), The Manipur Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) (Amendment) Bill, 2026 (Bill No. 14 of 2026), and The Manipur Unified (Trade, Shop and Establishment Licensing) Bill, 2026 (Bill No. 13 of 2026), all of which were moved by Yumnam Khemchand, Chief Minister, Manipur.
The Manipur Panchayati Raj (Ninth Amendment) Bill, 2026 (Bill No. 12 of 2026) was moved by Nemcha Kipgen, Deputy Chief Minister, while The Manipur Fire and Emergency Services Bill, 2026 (Bill No. 4 of 2026) was moved by Shri K. Govindas, Home Minister.
The 8th session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly was later adjourned sine die.
