Churachandpur: Demonstrating its commitment to community welfare alongside operational responsibilities, Assam Rifles extended swift relief support to families severely affected by heavy rainfall in Hingtam Village of Churachandpur District. Continuous rainfall in the region had adversely impacted several local households, causing immense hardship and disrupting the daily lives of the residents.
Responding promptly to the challenging situation, Assam Rifles reached out to the affected families with essential relief supplies to alleviate their immediate needs. Survival-oriented groceries along with milk and tinned food were distributed among 14 affected families, aimed at ensuring immediate food security during this difficult period. The entire relief distribution drive was carried out in close coordination with local village representatives, ensuring that the aid reached all deserving beneficiaries in a seamless, timely and organised manner. The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Assam Rifles for its swift response and compassionate support during their time of need.
