Churachandpup: Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar chaired a district-level meeting of officers held this afternoon at the Conference Hall of his office in Churachandpur. The meeting was convened to review the status and implementation of ongoing schemes and programmes under both Central and State Governments across all departments.

District Level Officers presented brief reports highlighting achievements, innovations, and targets. The deliberations centred on strengthening coordination among departments, expediting project execution, and ensuring timely delivery of benefits to citizens.

Krishna Kumar emphasized transparency, accountability, and inter-departmental collaboration, urging officers to adopt innovative practices and replicate successful models across sectors. He stressed that development programmes must be implemented uniformly across all sub-divisions. “Be responsible for the works we are implementing and strive to complete them within the stipulated timeframe,” he said. He further appealed to District Level Officers to actively participate in the Ni-kshay Mitra initiative, launched under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, to contribute towards the eradication of tuberculosis.

The meeting concluded with instructions for departments to submit updated progress reports and action plans before the next review session.

Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs), District Level Officers (DLOs), Lead District Manager (LDM) from SBI, officials and staff members from line departments attended the meeting.
