Kakching: The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Kakching organised a felicitation programme for children residing in Child Care Institutions (CCIs) who successfully passed the Class X and Class XII Board Examinations 2026. The programme was held under the overall supervision of the District Administration Kakching at the Conference Hall of the DC Office in Kakching.
The event was attended by Angeline Renita R, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Kakching; Phurailatpam Bhavananda, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner; officials of District Administration; Gajoo Rajkumari, District Child Protection Officer, among others.
A total of 14 students were felicitated for their academic achievements, including 8 students from BDS Children Home for Girls, Keirak and 6 students from HFAO Thambal Children Home for Girls, Arong Khunou.
