Kamjong: In continuation of the 3 days Jan Kalyan Shivir Campaign which began on 17th June this month, Kamjong District Administration today reached out to its people by holding public welfare camps on the second day of the campaign.

The camps were organised at Kongkan under Kamjong Sub-division, Maku High School under Sahamphung, Phalang Community Hall under Phungyar and SDO/BDO complex, Kasom Khullen.

Different government departments and banks including Health, CAF & PD, Agriculture, Social Welfare, Transport, Fisheries, Forest, Horticulture & Soil Conservation, ICDS Cell, Cooperatives, Education, Veterinary, MSPDCL, MSRLM and RD & PR among others opened camps for service delivery under various welfare schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, CMHT, PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, Kisan Credit Card, PM-Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah Yojana, PM Surya Ghar, PM Ujjwala Yojana, Startup Manipur Scheme and other.

As a part of the campaign, Deputy Commissioner, Kamjong L.N. Kashung also interacted with village elders at the public welfare camps held at Maku Village under Sahamphung Sub-division.

The District Administration will continue the Jan Kalyan Shivir Campaign for the third day on 19th June, 2026 by organising camps at Ramphoi under Kamjong Sub-division, Lungphu Community Hall under Phungyar Sub-division, Nambashi Khullen under Kasom Khullen Sub-division and Shingcha Primary School under Sahamphung sub-division.
