Churachandpur: The week-long Jan Sunwai, benefit saturation, and health camp held today at Songpi village, May 25, marked the successful conclusion of the Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan in Churachandpur district. The campaign, titled “Jan Bhagidaari Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle”, was launched by the District Administration, Churachandpur at Elim Veng Gram Panchayat on May 18, 2026, and continued across the district till today.
The nationwide campaign, envisaged by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Hills, Government of India, under the theme “Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle”, aimed at ensuring saturation of flagship government schemes and strengthening citizen participation through intensive outreach programmes. Activities conducted during the campaign included Jan Sunwais, plantation drives, health camps, last-mile delivery of welfare services, identification of beneficiaries, facilitation of documentation, and awareness generation on key government schemes in remote areas.
Speaking to media persons in his chamber, Deputy Commissioner Shri Dharun Kumar S stated that till May 24, a total of 1,994 beneficiaries had availed various services during the IEC Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan across all 89 DAJGUA villages, while 978 VB-RAM-G or MGNREGS-related issues were resolved.
He informed that the services delivered under the campaign included 476 Aadhaar-related services, generation of 82 Ayushman Bharat cards, issuance of 903 on-the-spot caste and tribe certificates, and 93 registrations under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Other achievements included 50 PM Jan Dhan Yojana accounts, 79 enrolments under PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, 75 registrations under PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, 44 registrations under Atal Pension Yojana, 39 beneficiaries under PM Matru Vandana Yojana, 87 beneficiaries under Poshan Abhiyan, and 38 beneficiaries under PM Van Dhan Yojana. In addition, 21 ration cards were issued, five beneficiaries were registered under PM Vishwakarma, and two Kisan Credit Cards were generated.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the block administrations and line departments for successfully implementing the special abhiyan with a strong focus on awareness and outreach activities through wall paintings, hoardings, posters, selfie points, and the dissemination of information at camp venues, including health camps.
He further reiterated that the District Administration, Churachandpur remains committed to ensuring the timely delivery of public services through effective convergence of departments under the Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan, thereby promoting inclusive governance and fostering citizen participation at the grassroots level towards the vision of a “Viksit Bharat.”
