Senapati: The District Administration of Senapati continued its Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign under the Jan Bhagidaari—Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle initiative under DA-JGUA. The Campaign, aimed at reaching the most remote parts of the district, was held today at the Phaibung Khullen Community Hall under Chilivai Phaibung T.D. Block. The event was held under the supervision James Panii, MCS, Block Development Officer/ Sub- Divisional Officer, Chilivai Phaibung.
Addressing at the event, James Panii, MCS welcomed the attendees and highlighted the significance of the campaign. He stated that the initiative honors the Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat for the empowerment of India’s tribals over the past few years back. He emphasized the campaign’s core objective is to spread awareness and empower tribal communities through active in government welfare programmes. He briefed also the participants on day’s activities noting that various line departments to prove various services f on the spot.
Village representatives expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the District Administration and BDO for bringing vital welfare schemes and services to the doorstep of people living in remote and far- flung areas through IEC campaign.
Representatives and experts from line departments such as Banking Institutions, Social Welfare, Agriculture, District Child Protection Unit, Health and other also sensitized the attendees on a wide array of welfare schemes.
The campaign featured interactive community activities, including a plantation drive led by BDO Chilivai Phaibung and a village transect walk joined by residents of host village and neighbouring villages.
Around 150 participants from 13 villages under DAJGUA across the Chilivai Phaibung T.D. Block attended the IEC Campaign. Additionally, 9 stalls were set up by various line departments to provide on-the-spot services and information. Numerous attendees received guidance on crtical schemes such as PMSBY, PMJJBY, SSY, PMMVY, Mission Vatsalya, Old Age, disabled schemes etc. and screening of NCDs along with distribution of 150 tree seedling during the day’s campaign.
