Thoubal: The District Administration Thoubal Sunday organised a social service at Khongjom War Memorial Complex which began from 7am as the administration prepared to celebrate Khongjom Day like previous years.
The Social Service was held to keep the historical site neat and clean for the State Level Khongjom Day celebration which is going to be held on 23rd April.
During the camp, grass cutting, trimming of bushes, cleaning water bodies among others were done by the participants from line departments to facelift the memorial complex for the visitors.
Staffs of various departments including Municipal Councils of Thoubal, Wangjing Lamding, Yairipok,Shikhong Sekmai, MI, WRD, ZEO, FSA, Transport, Forest Division, Thoubal Police, Fire Service among other participated in the social service Camp.
