Imphal: On the fourth day of the ongoing 17th Ningthoukhongjam Tombi State Equestrian Championships, 2024, Senior Men’s Tent Pegging Lance, Senior Men’s Show Jumping, Junior Show jumping and Senior Men’s Tent Pegging Sword competitions were conducted.
The Arambai Target Throw competition, which was introduced in the National Games Imphal in 1999 was participated by eighty riders today. The final of the Arambai Distance Throw will be held tomorrow at 1 pm. All the participants of the Arambai Distance Throw should report to the ground at 12.30 pm.
In the Senior Men’s Tent Pegging Lance competition, Thokchom Jacob of Imphal Riding Club won the Gold medal, Nongthombam Premananda of Chingkheihunba Polo Club won the Silver medal while the Bronze medal went to Kh Rocky of KRYPSA.
In the Senior Men’s Show Jumping, Sinam Saolin Singh of Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club won the Gold Medal while Thoudam Kaoba Chingkheihunba Polo Club and Taorem Pradeep Kumar Manipur Police Sports Club won the Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
In the Junior Show Jumping event, Pamheiba Thounaojam of Chingkheihunba Polo Club won the Gold Medal, Laishram Abhinash of Imphal Riding Club won the Silver medal while Phijam Krishnakumar Rupkumar Polo Club won the Bronze medal.
In the Senior Men’s Tent Sword event, Hourungbam Pritam of Chingkheihunba Polo Club won the Gold medal, the Silver medal went to K Jogendra Singh Chingkheihunba Polo Club while M Devnath of Manipur Police Sports Club won the Bronze medal.
