Sikkim reports 121 new cases of COVID-19

Gangtok: Sparsely populated Sikkim has registered 121 fresh cases of novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours, taking the state tally to 7,158, the government said Sunday.

On a positive, the state reported zero casualties in the past one day, keeping the death toll steady at 137. A Health Department official informed that so far 6069 people have been cured and discharged. The recovery rate stands at 84.78 per cent.

On the vaccination front, a total of 4792 people were vaccinated on Saturday.
