13 Police officers killed in attack in Mexico

Mexico City: At least 13 Police officers were killed in an attack in the western part of Mexico.

The attack took place on the Acapulco-Zihuatanejo federal highway, Radio Formula reported on Monday.

Media reports added that among the dead were a female officer, as well as the head of the municipal police, while two other police officers received injuries.
