Patna: An earthquake of moderate intensity of 5.3 measured on richter scale, rocked several districts of Bihar on Sunday morning but no casualty was reported from any part of the state so far.
Weather department sources said that earthquake of moderate intensity rocked Patna, Bagha, Siwan, Gopalganj and Chhapara districts of Bihar. People came out from their houses soon after they sensed the effect of earthquake.
No casualty was reported from any part of the state so far. Its epicenter was reported to be in Kathmandu, having intensity of 5.3 measured on richter scale.
