Kolkata: Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) has signed an MoU
( memorandum of understanding) with Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited (MECL) to carry out mineral exploration and allied works within its mining leases in the states of neighboring Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, HCL official said on Saturday.
The MoU was signed on Friday for a period of three years.
CMD HCL Ghanshyam Sharma CMD MECL Indra Dev Narayan was present at the signing of the MoU at the HCL Corporate Office in the city here.
The MoU will facilitate leveraging the expertise of MECL in in-depth exploration for enhancing the resources /reserves in the
mining leases of HCL.
