Mizoram: Four infected pigs culled at Siaha

Siaha: Under the Supervision of Dr Shahlu Khaila, DVO, AH& Vety Department, Siaha culled four pigs infected with ASF by gunshot, and buried them, along with disinfectant, in a 10 ft deep dug out pit, at the premises of AH&Vety farm, here Saturday.

These four pigs were caught from T Lallawmtluanga, Siaha Vaihpi-I, on March 26, 2021, and blood samples were taken were sent to ICAR-NIHSAD, Bhopal for Confirmatory Diagnosis, after CFS, PRRS and ASF test were already done at District Veterinary Hospital, Siaha.
