Guwahati: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) OBC Morcha, Silchar has expressed its full support of Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh’s ‘No Separate Administration’ for Kukis in Manipur.
In a letter addressed to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the Morcha asked the Central government to implement the NRC (National Register of Citizens) for Manipur under the guidance of the Supreme Court of India and said that speedy normalcy is must in the state of Manipur.
Asking the centre to withdraw the Suspension of Operations with the Kuki militants and book them under NIA and other relevant laws, the body said that all the indigenous people of Manipur should enjoy valley as well as hilly areas equally for the fast and very fast development of the Manipur state in terms of economically, socially and politically.
It said all the houses and properties damaged in the violence should be provided and built by the state government. At least ten lakh as compensation should be given
A minimum of Rs 10 lakhs each should be given to all the innocent lives sacrificed/killed in the riot.
