Imphal: Troops of the Assam Rifles apprehended an active cadre of the banned outfit Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) group at Leisan Tampak, Churachandpur District on last Sunday.
Based on specific input, the troops of Assam Rifles launched an operation which led to the apprehension of the cadre.
The apprehended cadre was handed over to Sangaikot Police Station for further investigation, said a press note from the PRO cell, IGAR(S).
