Odisha: Three college students drown in a river, two rescued in critical condition

Police sources said five plus two students of Charampa college were drowned while bathing in Nalia river, a branch of Salandi river under Langudi rural police station of Bhadrak district.

Bhubaneswar: In a heart rendering and tragic incident three college students were drowned and two other admitted to hospital in a critical condition while they were bathing in a river in Odisha’s bhadrak district on Tuesday

Police sources said five plus two students of Charampa college were drowned while bathing in Nalia river, a branch of Salandi river under Langudi rural police station of Bhadrak district.

All the students are in the age group of 16 to 17 years.

The local people on being informed about the tragic mishap rushed to the spot and took all the five college students to Bhadrak district headquarters hospital where the doctors declared three of them dead while two were undergoing treatment in a critical condition.
