LVM-M3 with OneWeb’s 36 satellites lifts off from SHAR Range

Sriharikota (Andhra Pradesh): India’s heaviest rocket LVM-M3 carrying 36 satellites of the UK-based OneWeb, lifts off from the SHAR Range, here on Sunday.

After a smooth 24.5 hour countdown, the rocket, in its sixth mission, took off from the Second Launch Pad as scheduled at 9.00 am, belching orange fumes and with a rumble that shook the earth.
