Hyderabad:Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) on Thursday stated the state had lost Rs 3 lakh crores due to the failures of the BJP-Led NDA government at the centre.
Addressing after inaugurating BRS District party office and integrated district collectorate complex, constructed at a cost of Rs 62.50 crore at Mahabubabad district, KCR said ponds and water bodies are revived under Mission Kakatiya and completed all pending projects in the state.
Telangana farmers are freed from irrigation water problems as the government built the Kaleshwaram project and now the underground water is rising and water is coming out from the bore wells, said the CM.
But, the center is not doing any development and it has failed to make good use of the river waters, he alleged and said that many states are struggling for water.
The CM appealed to all to stop provoking hostility between people on religious and caste issues.
If that happens, our country will become another Afghanistan..” said KCR.
The CM requested the youth to think about all these issues and stay away from sectarianism.
Earlier, the CM along with Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, also conducted a special meeting with the public representatives and officials of Mahabubabad district.
Addressing the meeting, the CM announced funds for the development of Mahabubabad municipality and three other municipalities — Thorrur, Dornakal and Marripeda, of the district besides sanctioning a government engineering college for the district.
“The new engineering college will start functioning from the next academic year,” he said.

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari said people coming to district offices including the collectorate used to suffer a lot due to non-availability of seating arrangements and toilets. “But now 30 districts of the State have new buildings with all facilities.
Expressing happy to be part of this development, she said that the revenue of the State had increased by three times since its formation.
During the day, the CM also inaugurated the District party office and integrated district office Complex at Bhadradri Kothagudem District.
