Gangtok: Sikkim Health Minister Dr M K Sharma appreciated the sincere efforts of the artisans.
He was addressing the participants at a Seminar hosted by the Tribal Research Institute of the department.
At the Inaugural session of Seminar on Value addition, Market linkage and products of Tribal artisans, Minister Sharma said the adaptation, modulation and increasing market value are significant. Secretary Tshering Gyatso laid stress on the importance of packaging. ‘It plays a major role in increasing the market value of Tribal products. All the artisans should explore innovative ideas for their products,’ said Secretary Gyatso.
