Arunachal CM condoles death of Indian soldiers in Ladakh mishap

The mishap occurred when the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into the Shyok river. Reportedly, 19 others have sustained injuries in the accident.

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has mourned the sad demise of seven Indian Army personnel in a road accident in Ladakh on Friday.

The mishap occurred when the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into the Shyok river. Reportedly, 19 others have sustained injuries in the accident.

Taking to Twitter, CM Khandu said, “I’m deeply pained by the demise of our seven Army jawans in a tragic road accident in Ladakh.” 

“My prayers for the departed souls. May the injured recover soon. May Lord Buddha give strength to bereaved families to bear the terrible loss,” Khandu prayed.
