Rewari: Five members of a family, including two women, were killed and a dozen others injured after their vehicle rammed into a parked truck near Audhi village on Delhi-Jaipur Highway in the wee hours on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Malu Ram, Mahender Kumar, Sugna, Aashish and Bhori Devi, residents of Samand village (Rajasthan).
The accident occurred when Malu Ram, his family and relatives were returning to their village after immersing ashes of his father at Haridwar (Uttarakhand).
Some of the injured have been admitted to Bawal Community Health Centre and others have been referred to nearby hospitals for treatment.
