Rohtas: Exhorting the people to use and promote their mother tongue, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said that would bring progress, prosperity and pride to the nation globally.
Addressing a mammoth gathering after conferring the degree to the successful students of Gopal Narayan Singh University in Rohtas at it’s first convocation, Shah ld the people not to forget their mother tongue, and rather promote it, specially at home.
Speaking as the chief guest in the function, Shah said there was nothing wrong in any of the languages and one can learn and have command in as many languages asone wishes, but people should never forget their mother tongue.
Outlining the importance of the mother tongue in the nation’s progress and prosperity, Shah suggested people inspire their children to use the mother tongue which would add to the nation’s Pride.
Highlighting the initiative of the Narendra Modi government for progress and prosperity of the nation Shah said following the Prime Minister’s efforts the India can now compete with other countries in the world.
Speaking about the initiative taken in the field of human resources and infrastructure, Shah said the Modi government has initiated the facilities like startups and standups for the youth.
He appealed to the youth to cooperate and work for the benefit of other people too.Â
