Friday sees Manipur’s Covid positivity rate rise to 3.5%

 Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Friday, Manipur did not report any Covid-related death.

During the same period, 10 persons from the general population tested positive while four persons recovered and were discharged, as per an official release from the Health Department.

Of the 10 persons who tested positive, four are from Imphal West, three are from Imphal East, two from Bishnupur and one from Chandel.  A total of 286 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 3.5 %.

Meanwhile, four persons recovered from home isolation and were discharged. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 98.43 %

The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 104 out of which 1, 34, 950 have recovered leaving 34 active cases.

The total number of doses administered on March 31, is 1,995, the cumulative number of doses administered is 27,89,305 (1st dose 15,40, 654, 2nd dose 11,82, 576) and precautionary dose 66,075.
