Imphal: Manipur police Sunday arrested a woman along with heroin No. 4 at Kakching.
The woman has been identified as Sneha Thounaojam, wife of Sarungbam Yoihenba Meitei of Patsoi Part II.
Police said 63 soap cases containing Heroin (No. 4) powder weighing 723 gram (aprox) and also a Maruti Gypsy (registration No. MN04P-0670) have seized along with the accused.
In another incident, Jiribam Narcotic Cell on Saturday nabbed a man named Md Asamir at Jiribam and recovered 25 soap caps containing suspected brown sugar inside the fuel tank of his car. The total weight of the suspected brown sugar was 316.62 gms. He was detained for necessary legal action.
