Imphal: Manipur reported no Covid related death in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Wednesday. During the same period, six persons from the general population tested positive while eight persons recovered and were discharged, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the six persons who tested po sitive Tuesday, three are from Thoubal, Two from Tamenglong and one from Imphal West.
Meanwhile, eight persons recovered and were discharged, seven of them from home isolation and one from RIMS. The recovery rate of the state now stands at 98.40 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 057 out of which 1, 34, 859 have recovered leaving 78 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on March 22, is 1,666, the cumulative number of doses administered is 27,70,337(1st dose 15,29, 672, 2nd dose 11,76, 002) and precautionary dose 64,663.
