NSCN leader Muivah recovering in Nagaland

Kohima: The ato kilonser (prime minister) of the NSCN (IM), Thuingalen Muivah, who was admitted to the Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) hospital in Dimapur, is out of danger and doing well, the outfit said on Sunday.

A release issued by the group informed that Muivah was admitted to CIHSR on Friday afternoon, due to a minor health issue attributed to indigestion. He underwent successful minor surgery on Saturday and is now out of danger and doing fine, it said.

The group said it was “thankful” to the CIHSR and well-wishers for the love and prayers exhibited to ensure that he is safe.

“Let us continue to pray and care for him as he continues to be under the care of the CIHSR until his discharge. Let us all give praise to our Lord, our God, because with Him all things are possible,” the group said.
