Imphal: Troops of Assam Rifles and Manipur Police Wednesday apprehended an alleged cadre of PREPAK (PRO) from Irilbung Bazar in Thoubal district.
Assam Rifles official said the 24 year old PREPAK (PRO) insurgent was identified as Thangjam Dharmendra and he had joined the proscribed group in January 2021 and was involved in extortion activities.
He was handed over to Irilbung Police Station for further investigation and legal action.
