Imphal: Only one person a male resident of Kakching tested positive in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Monday, while 13 persons recovered during the same period in Manipur, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
With no reports of any deaths, 13 persons recovering and recovery rate touching 98.62%, Monday is one of the best days for Manipur as far as the improved condition of the Covid-19 pandemic is concerned.
Meanwhile, the release also requested air passengers who arrived on March 1 in Imphal by flight GE 634 seated in rows 5 to 11 and row 2 and flight GE 2019 seated in rows 1-5 to inform Covid Control Room No 18003453818 or respective DSOs for necessary surveillance.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,274 (General Population — 25,841 and Central Security Personnel — 3,433). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,871 (General Population — 25,442 and CAPF— 3,429). The number of active cases is 30 (general population 30 and CAPF 0).

As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated is 3482 and the cumulative vaccination number is 52327.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 29760 which include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
There are no severe reaction/allergies, adverse event following immunization (AEFI) till date. There were 47 mild reactions who were on home care and all of them are now fully recovered, the release added.
