Imphal: After the detection of one OMICRON case on December 27, there has been no new case of the variant in Manipur till date, said a press note issued by the Director of Health Services, Government of Manipur.
All primary and secondary contacts have been traced out of which three primary contacts have tested positive for coronavirus and their samples have been sent for whole genome sequencing at IBSD, Takeylpat.
Tracing and testing of secondary contacts have been going on and no positive case has been detected till date, the press note added.
