Seoul: Two workers died and one went missing in a chemical factory explosion in South Korea, media reported Monday.
The blast occurred at 1:37 pm local time (0437 GMT) at a chemical factory in the Yeosu Industrial Complex in Yeosu city, some 450 km south of the capital, SeoulYonhap news agency reported.
Altogether seven people were working at a chemicals storage facility of the factory. Two were found dead at a nearby plant, another remains unaccounted for, and the other four were confirmed to be safe.
The explosion caused the fire, with black, toxic fumes seen as far as 10 km away.
