Imphal: There was also no report of any deaths in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Tuesday in Manipur keeping up with the improving trend in the state. During the same period, 3 males from the general population testing positive, 2 of which are from Imphal West and one of them from Chandel, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
Meanwhile, 16 persons recovered and were discharged, 15 of them from Home Isolation and 1 from RD Wing.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,243 (General Population — 25,811 and Central Security Personnel — 3,432). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,834 (General Population — 25,417 and CAPF— 3,417 ). The number of active cases is 36 (general population 25 and CAPF 11). The recovery rate is 98.60 %.

As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on February 22 is 1588 and the cumulative vaccination number is 41706.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 29616 include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs, DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
There is no severe reaction/allergies, adverse event following immunization (AEFI) till date. There were 47 mild reactions who were on home care and all of them are now fully recovered, the release added.
