Itanagar: Paying a visit to his constituency, Arunachal West MP cum Union Minister for Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju on Sunday inaugurated a series of infrastructure projects at Kamba in West Siang district, official sources said.
He launched the Science block and new Academic block of Donyi Polo Govt College, Kamki, TK Indoor Badminton Court, PMGSY road from Kamba Police Station to Community Health Centre, Kamba via Ngorlek in ADC Office Complex and RIDF Water Supply Project for Kamba Township.
Interacting with the PRI leaders, Gaon Burahs, students and BJP Mandal office bearers, he exhorted the local leaders and govt officers to play a proactive role in implementing the centrally sponsored schemes in a time-bound manner.
The Union Minister said the government is committed to look into roads heads, village electrification, water connections, LPG by 2024 and urged all to open a bank account so that benefits go directly into their accounts.
As a Central Minister, Rijiju said, he will continue to work for the interests of the state to look into whatever proposal is given by the state.
During the visit, Rijiju was accompanied by the state Minister for Agriculture and Horticulture Tage Taki, Industries Minister Tumke Bagra, Liromoba MLA Nyamar Karbak, West Siang DC, SP and other district officials, the sources said.
