Imphal: In continuation of its series of activities, members of the “Nature Club, Haoreibi” carried out a cleanliness drive in Haoreibi, Imphal West Thursday in observance of the 125th birth anniversary of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot with strick maintaining of COVID-19 protocols.
Besides the cleanliness drive, listening to patriotic songs and narratives on life and works of Hijam Irabot was another main feature of the programme.
The members revisited his sacrifices and contributions to society, said a statement issued by its Programme Convener, L Sanju Singh.
