ENNG militant surrenders in Arunachal’s Tirap district

The Eastern Naga National Government (ENNG) cadre, identified as Khunmen Kitnya (42), ‘Naga army No 89 in the rank of lieutenant’, surrendered before the Tirap District Magistrate Taro Mize, District Police and CRPF on Wednesday.

Itanagar: An active cadre of a Naga militant outfit has surrendered before the security forces and the DM of Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The Eastern Naga National Government (ENNG) cadre, identified as Khunmen Kitnya (42), ‘Naga army No 89 in the rank of lieutenant’, surrendered before the Tirap District Magistrate Taro Mize, District Police and CRPF on Wednesday.

He had joined the ENNG in November 2020 and became an active member of the outfit. Previously, he was an active member of NSCN-IM from May 2011 till his arrest in April 2015.

“Kitnya, a resident of Thungjang village under Lazu circle of Tirap district, surrendered with a condition to lead a normal life with his family,” the DM said.
