Jharkhand: Two killed, five injured in a collision between bike and autorickshaw in Gumla

Police said that such was the impact of the accident that both the deceased died on the spot.

Gumla: Two bike-borne youths lost their lives while five others sustained injuries following a collision between a motorcycle and an autorickshaw in Mahuatoli under the Raidih Police Station area of this district, here on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Nirmal Ekka (30) and Nikki Kujur (25). All the injured have been admitted to Sadar Hospital. Upon receiving information a police team reached the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem.

Police said that five people were returning in an autorickshaw after witnessing a hockey match while the bike riders were coming from Gumla when both the vehicles ended up colliding with each other.

Police said that such was the impact of the accident that both the deceased died on the spot.
