Panaji: Two Russian women were found dead at their residence at a village in North Goa in two separate instances and on two consecutive days.

According to police, Alexandra Djavi (24) was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her rented place late on Thursday while Ekaterina Titova (34) was found dead at her apartment on Friday.

They were staying at two different places in Siolim village and no injury marks were found on their bodies, a police official said, adding as per the investigation conducted so far there was no link between the two deaths.

Further investigation was underway, police added.
