Meghalaya Assembly session to commence from Septr 10 to 17

The Assembly Speaker informed that the session will have six working days with three days each allotted for government business and four days for private member’s business.

Shillong: The Autumn session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will be held from September 10 to 17 next, Speaker, Metbah Lyngdoh announced on Thursday.

The calendar for the Autumn session was approved by the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, which was attended by Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Parliamentary Affairs, Prestone Tynsong, Leader of Opposition, Dr. Mukul Sangma, United Democratic Party legislator, Balajied Kupar Synrem and Congress legislator Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh.
