COVID-19: Arunachal records 379 cases, one death

As per the bulletin, the fresh casualty was reported from Lower Subansiri. The body of the 65-year-old woman was handed over to the family members as per Covid-19 SOP.

Itanagar: As many as 379 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s infection tally to 47,856 while the death toll rose to 226 as one more succumbed to the disease.

According to the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services, out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported a maximum number of cases at 112 followed by Lower Subansiri 35 and Changlang 33.

Of these, 173 patients are symptomatic and 206 asymptomatic.

As per the bulletin, the fresh casualty was reported from Lower Subansiri. The body of the 65-year-old woman was handed over to the family members as per Covid-19 SOP.

On the other hand, the recoveries tally rose to 43,488 as 488 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours. The active case tally stands at 4,142.
