Kohima: Nagaland recorded 60 cases of novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of cases to 27,713, while the death toll soared further to 561 with three new demises, the state’s Health Department said Saturday in a Health Bulletin.
According to the bulletin, the new cases were detected from ten districts of Nagaland with 21 cases in Kohima, 13 in Dimapur, six in Mokokchung, five in Wokha, four in Peren, three in Mon and two in Longleng, two in Phek, two in Tuensang and two in Zunheboto.
The total recovery count increased to 25,098 as 75 new patients were cured and discharged. Of these, 30 patients recovered from Mokokchung in past 24 hours followed by 19 from Dimapur, 16 from Kohima, five in Mon, two from Longleng, two from Wokha and one from Tuensang.
With this, the state now has a 1,274 active cases out of them 1,027 are asymptomatic, 173 cases are mild symptomatic, 36 are moderate on oxygen, 23 are severe on oxygen, 4 are on ICU without ventilator and 11 are in ICU on ventilator.
