Imphal: In order to help the needy people of the Langol Old Age Home during the prevailing pandemic, CAF & PD Minister Th.Satyabrata took the initiative of delivering essential food items to them through his volunteers.
He has been in quarantine as he tested positive for Covid-19 two weeks back.
Volunteers of the Minister Saturday distributed daily essential food items like rice, dal, potatoes, onions, local fermented fish (Ngari), cooking oil, salt etc. to the elderly people of Langol Old Age Home at Langol Ningthou Leikai.
The Chairman of the Langol Old Age Home also appreciated Minister Satyabrata for the assistance he provided during the painful time of the pandemic.
Langol Old Age Home is a daycare and rehabilitation centre that is run and maintained by the Hill and Plain Home for Destitutes & IOH (JV).
