Imphal: Youth Congress members Thursday protested the hike in prices of petroleum products and other essential commodities.
Congress members shouted slogans and displayed festoons denouncing price hikes in front of a petrol pump here at Uripok.
Mahananda Singh, MPYCC President, City District Youth Congress Committee members and others took part in the protest. City District President Tonton Irom demanded an immediate response from the BJP Government to ease the grievances of the poor and the farmers who were severely affected by the price hikes.
